Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Rayvanny has officially quit the Wasafi Classic Baby Records (WCB). Rayvanny, whose official names are Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, finally left the WCB record label after six years.

The BET Awards winner launched his rerecord label in March 2021 called Next Level Music (NLM). Rayvanny announced on July 12, 2022, on his Instagram page that he thanked WCB owner Diamond Platnumz for believing in him and having helped him achieve a lot in the music industry.
While quoting from his Instagram page, the Tanzanian singer said, “I was the first artist to win a BET award. I have been the first artiste to perform on big stages and the first from East Africa to gain 100,000,000 view plays on Boomplay. I have learned a lot, and all this happened when we were together.”
The singer thanked the WCB wasafi group, the management, and Diamond Platinumz himself for standing by him throughout all 6 years on the record label. Rayvanny was signed in 2015 under the WCB label and has released numerous hits and albums.
